There’s something so special about working with a family and helping them capture memories that will last a lifetime. We love capturing weddings and all the special moments during a couples' special day, but we have so much running around and playing with families and letting loose.

We’ve been working with the Laberis family now for two years, and right from the get go we knew that we would be making lifelong friends with Kristin, Drew, Aubrey and Caden. We always send out a quick questionnaire to our families to help get to know everyone before the session- and to get an idea of what they’re looking to get out of the session. We lit up with huge smiles on our faces when we read that Kristin’s favorite type of photos are candid and playful, and that the most important thing to them was capturing her familys’ personalities– which exactly what we specialize in. After their first session, our sides hurt because we were laughing so hard!

This year, when Kristin reached out again to book another session, we were over the moon excited. Their family is very outdoorsy and loves going on hikes, so we decided on Stonehouse Pond in Barrington, New Hampshire. If you’ve never been there, you really should check it out. It’s a quick loop around the pond and you’re rewarded with beautiful views from above when you get to the top. We couldn’t believe that Kristin showed up in heels, and that she managed to hike the rocky path better than we could!

It was so much fun getting to catch up with this family- Aubrey and Caden’s personality really came out during our time with them. Aubrey is a bubbly, energetic little girl who loves to joke around both with us (example below when she threw pine needles at us and thought it was the funniest thing in the world– and so did we!) and her mom and dad. Caden is adventurous, fearless and a true wild child. We’d turn our backs for two seconds and look back and he would be at the top of a boulder or climbing a tree.

It’s clear to us that there is so much love in this family. Every single picture we captured is overflowing with the love and joy between all of them. We got to explore, play games, and just goof around with them for their session, and it would be an understatement if we said we can’t wait for next year’s session and to continue to watch this family grow.
